TimeClock Plus (TCP):  A centralized service for securing substitute teachers is provided for all schools. The system being used is TimeClock Plus (TCP). During the hiring process, substitutes are given an ID number from payroll. Your ID number is 1 followed by the last 5 digits of your social security number.

SUPPORT:  If you need assistance with TimeClock Plus, you can contact Ramiro “Trey” Pereyra or Payroll at lapspayroll@laschools.net.

For Substitutes:  Substitute Handbook.pdf
Your willingness to give service to Los Alamos Public Schools’ students in all curricular areas is appreciated. As a substitute staff member, you are required to follow all LAPS regulations and policies. Upon hiring, you will be given a Substitute Handbook that covers special regulations, preparation procedures, School Board policies, and more.

Substitute Teacher Observation Form– to be completed by all interested Substitute Employment Applicants.  Substitutes must complete two (2) hours of observations at each site level (elementary, middle school, high school) for licensure. Please upload your completed Substitute Teacher Observation Form to your online application once you have completed the observations within LAPS.
